WILMINGTON, Del. – West Chester rebounded from a loss in the first game of the match to take the next three tilts and cruise to a 3-1 non-league victory over host Wilmington on Saturday afternoon.
Kristen Decker recorded 22 kills and 21 digs, and Jacqueline Vivanco registered 22 digs to lead the Golden Rams (16-2) to the win, snapping the team’s two-game losing streak.
After opening the season with a school-record 15-game winning streak, West Chester had dropped its last two contests, both within the PSAC Eastern Division. Saturday’s come-from-behind victory put the Golden Rams back into the win column as they prepare to take on cross-town rival Cheyney on Tuesday.
Lisa Yeasted posted 55 assists in the win, Lacie Becher produced 11 kills.
